    Quality Wisconsin Rapids Golf Course

    The Ridges is sometimes looked upon as a course with two distictly different nine hole layouts.  The front nine has more length and man-made hazards while God made the hazards of the back nine. The back nine begins on an actual ridge with a tee shot that overlooks towering pines, the Buena Vista Creek and the flourishing valley floor more than 80 feet below. The back nine is wooded and tight. Ask our members, and they’ll tell you that at  The Ridges it is often best to leave the driver in your bag when you make the turn to the back nine! The front nine has its challenges, but we say this with a smile; the back nine is undeniably different. We can’t wait for you to see it for yourself!

    Most visitors describe our course as an enjoyable and challenging experience. In fact, we believe that we have a course that is unique among the other Central Wisconsin golf options. The Ridges staff works tirelessly each year to improve the already high quality of play at  The Ridges, and players who haven’t visited in a while are regularly impressed with the improvements that we’ve made.

    Originally the Hafermann family farm, Richard Hafermann converted the farmhouse into Homestead Bar in the fall of 1970. In June 1971, the former farm fields officially became Homestead Golf Course! The golf course is open (weather permitting) from late March until mid-November.

South Wood County Disc Golf Course

    As of 2019, all individuals who are 12 years of age and over who wish to use the North Park disc golf course during open dates of May 1st - October 31st, must purchase a permit prior to using the course. South Park Willow Run disc golfers may "play for free," however, there is a donation box to help fund future projects at the course.
